1. Information We Collect

  • Calendar Data: Events, categories, and other related information created, edited, and stored by users within this service
  • Google Calendar Data: Event names, descriptions, times, and related metadata (currently read-only)
  • Payment Data: Payment information is processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers or sensitive authentication data on our servers.
  • Account Information: Email addresses from Google accounts and profile information provided via OAuth
  • Technical Information: IP addresses, browser types, usage logs, device information
  • Year Compass AI Data: The goal entered by the user; the visible calendar date range; AnuCal event titles, dates, and category information; and titleless Google Calendar busy date ranges used to generate annual planning suggestions

2. Purpose of Use and Legal Basis

We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:

【Service Provision and Improvement】

・Purpose: Storage, display, and editing of calendar data, system operation
・Legal Basis: Contract performance, legitimate interests

【Google Calendar Integration】

・Purpose: Retrieval and display of Google Calendar data (editing planned for the future)
・Legal Basis: User consent

【AI-Assisted Annual Planning】

・Purpose: Generation of optional annual planning suggestions through Year Compass
・Legal Basis: Contract performance and user request

【Technical Information Collection and Analysis】

・Purpose: Service improvement, security enhancement, incident response
・Legal Basis: Legitimate interests

【Legal Compliance】

・Purpose: Response to disclosure requests based on laws
・Legal Basis: Legal obligation compliance

3. Data Retention Periods

【Calendar Data】

・During account validity: Continuously stored
・After account deletion: Immediately deleted

【Technical Information and Log Data】

・Stored for periods necessary for service operation and deleted when no longer needed

【Google Calendar Data】

・Not stored, used only for temporary display
・Deleted upon session termination

【Year Compass AI Data】

・AnuCal does not store the goal, event titles sent for planning, or generated model output in the Year Compass generation audit record
・The OpenAI API request uses store: false, which disables storage of the generated response for later API retrieval; OpenAI processes submitted data according to its applicable terms and privacy commitments

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with third parties only in the following cases:

・Vercel (hosting services)
・Supabase (database and authentication services)
・Stripe (payment processing)
・Google Analytics (access analysis)
・OpenAI (generation of Year Compass annual planning suggestions)
※Data is appropriately managed according to each partner's terms of service and privacy policy

【Disclosure for Legal Requests】

・Disclosure orders based on laws
・Court orders
・Official requests from administrative agencies

【Business Succession】

・In case of company mergers, acquisitions, or business transfers (users will be notified in advance)

5. International Data Transfers

User data may be processed in the following countries/regions:

  • United States (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Google Analytics, and OpenAI servers)
  • Other locations where partner servers are located

For transfers outside the EEA, we implement the following protective measures:

  • Transfers to countries with adequacy decisions
  • Execution of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC)
  • Appropriateness assessment of each partner

6. User Rights

Based on applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA, APPI, etc.), you have the right to request access, correction, deletion, and restriction of processing of your data.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.

8. Amendments

This policy may be updated from time to time. For significant changes, we will provide prior notice through in-service announcements or other appropriate methods. Continued use after the update date constitutes agreement to the revised policy.

9. Local Storage and Third-Party Services

【Use of Local Storage】

This service uses browser local storage for the following purposes:
・Supabase Auth: Storage of authentication session information (JWT tokens, etc.)

【Third-Party Service Cookies】

While this service itself does not use cookies, the following third-party services may set their own cookies:
・Google Analytics: Access analysis (anonymized data)
・Google OAuth: During Google account authentication
※These are processed according to each service provider's privacy policy

【User Control】

・Local storage can be disabled in browser settings, but authentication functions will become unavailable
・Third-party cookies can be controlled through individual browser settings
