Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By using this service (AnuCal), you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use this service.

2. Service Description

This service is a web application that allows creation, editing, and storage of calendar data (events, categories, etc.). It also integrates with Google Calendar, currently providing read-only access, with potential creation and update functions to be added in the future.

3. Fees and Payment

(1) Some features of the Service may be provided for a fee. Prices and payment terms are displayed on the purchase page.

(2) Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

(3) Refunds are generally not provided for digital content/services once the purchase is confirmed, except as required by applicable law.

(4) We reserve the right to change our pricing upon notice to users.

4. Eligibility

Users must be 13 years of age or older. However, users under 18 require parental consent. For EU residents, users must be 16 years of age or older.

5. Account and Security

Users are responsible for managing their account information. In case of unauthorized use by third parties, users shall bear the damages unless we have gross negligence.

6. Data Usage

Google Calendar data is accessed with user consent, not stored, and retrieved only when necessary for temporary display. Original calendar data is stored in our database and immediately deleted upon account deletion.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and data related to this service belong to us or our licensors.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in illegal activities, infringe on others' rights, send viruses or malware, or interfere with service operations.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for the following:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the maximum extent permitted by law
• Service interruptions, delays, errors, or data loss/corruption
• Issues with Google Calendar synchronization or data inconsistencies
• Accuracy or completeness of information obtained through this service
• Unauthorized access or security breaches by third parties (when we have no gross negligence)

10. Termination

In cases of terms of service violations or unauthorized use, we may suspend or delete accounts without prior notice when necessary.

11. Service Changes and Termination

(1) We may change, add, or remove service features with prior notice to users

(2) Google Calendar integration features may be changed or discontinued without notice due to Google's specification changes

(3) When terminating the entire service, we will notify users 30 days in advance

(4) Upon service termination, we will provide a period for users to export their data

12. Governing Law

Japanese law applies to the maximum extent legally permitted. Disputes will be resolved in Tokyo courts. However, if different methods are mandated in your country of residence, those will apply.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we will provide prior notice through in-service announcements or other appropriate methods. Continued use after updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
